JOB DESCRIPTION We have an prospect to impact your career and provide an adventure where you can push the limits of what s possible As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within Commercial and Investment Bank s Digital Platform Channel Engineering Team you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance build and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure stable and scalable way As a core technical contributor you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm s business objectives Job responsibilities Execute creative software solutions design development and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems Develop secure high-quality production code and reviews and debugs code written by others Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems Use APIs and SDKs for both niche solutions as well as open standards Drive quality and efficiency of the software development lifecycle Set high technical standards for team Lead evaluation sessions with appropriate teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs technical credentials and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture Add to team culture of diversity equity inclusion and respect Required qualifications capabilities and skills Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5 years applied experience Hands-on practical experience delivering system design application development testing and operational stability Expertise in application and data architecture disciplines Application development using Java Spring Spring Boot in micro services application Experience using Relational NoSQL database related implementation such as MySQL Cockroach DB Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods Ability to work collaboratively in local and global teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills Proficiency in NodeJs React Practical cloud native experience with stack including but not limited to Docker Kubernetes Strong understanding of OOP SOA principles design patterns industry best practices Ability to drive requirement refinement with product and stakeholders ABOUT US
