Job Title Lab In-Charge - Wires Cables Company Deep Cables Location Jhilmil Industrial Area Near Dilshad Garden Industry Electrical Wires Cables Manufacturing Experience Required 2-3 Years Salary 25 000 per month Job Summary Deep Cables is looking for a skilled and responsible Lab In-Charge to manage and operate the in-house testing laboratory for our wires and cables manufacturing unit The candidate must have strong hands-on experience in cable testing and thorough knowledge of BIS standards IS 694 IS 1554 and IS 7098 to ensure product quality and compliance Roles Responsibilities Conduct routine type and acceptance tests on PVC XLPE and LT power cables Ensure all products meet BIS standards IS 694 IS 1554 IS 7098 Perform tests including Conductor resistance Insulation resistance High voltage test Tensile and elongation Heat shock and aging tests Thickness and diameter measurement Maintain testing records reports and calibration data Approve or reject finished cables and raw materials based on test results Coordinate with production and quality teams to correct defects Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment Support BIS inspections and quality audits Train and guide lab technicians and operators Candidate Requirements Diploma B Tech in Electrical Mechanical or Polymer Engineering 2-3 years of experience in a wires cables manufacturing lab Strong working knowledge of IS 694 - PVC insulated cables IS 1554 - LT power cables IS 7098 - XLPE insulated power cables Experience in handling testing instruments and BIS documentation Ability to read and interpret technical standards and specifications Job Type Full time Pay Up to 25 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Work Location In person
