We are looking for an experienced Contract Risk Compliance Manager to oversee major project contracts identify early risks and ensure all contractual obligations are monitored documented and escalated proactively over long project lifecycles Role Overview The Contract Risk Compliance Manager will be responsible for safeguarding the company from contractual financial and delivery risks by actively managing contracts monitoring compliance and maintaining strong documentation to support claims extensions of time EOT and dispute avoidance This is a senior high-responsibility role requiring deep experience attention to detail and the ability to work independently Key Responsibilities 1 Contract Review Clause Extraction Review complete contracts and extract all obligations risks and dependencies Identify critical high-risk and time-sensitive clauses Prepare and maintain a Clause Control Sheet detailing responsibilities deadlines risks and mitigation actions 2 Contract Compliance Weekly Monitoring Track compliance across design approvals submittals procurement manufacturing delivery and installation Coordinate with internal teams to assign and close contract-linked actions Prepare a Weekly Contract Early Warning Report Red Amber Green status 3 Communication Documentation Draft formal contractual communications including emails letters notices and delay notifications Ensure all documentation protects Bluestream from delay liquidated damages LDs and contractual exposure Maintain structured evidence-based records for claims EOTs and dispute prevention 4 Variations Claims Support Monitor scope changes and identify potential variations Support management with justification documents for claims additional costs and time extensions 5 Monthly Contract Risk Reporting Prepare formal monthly contractual notices summarising o Delays caused by external parties o Risks to schedule and cost o Recommended corrective actions o Contractual protections available to Bluestream 6 Project Close-Out Support Ensure all final documentation is complete and contractually compliant Assist with project handover close-out documentation and final claim resolution Required Skills Experience Minimum 20 years of experience in Contracts Management Quantity Surveying EPC Infrastructure or Construction Projects Strong understanding of contract frameworks FIDIC experience preferred Proven ability to read interpret and simplify complex contractual clauses Excellent documentation drafting and formal communication skills Hands-on experience preparing notices delay reports claims and contractual correspondence Strong understanding of construction workflows including approvals submittals procurement and installation sequencing High integrity reliability and ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent written and spoken English Ideal Personality Fit Extremely detail-oriented and methodical Calm practical and solution-focused Comfortable reading long complex documents Naturally inclined to track progress and follow up consistently Strong sense of ownership and accountability Retired or semi-retired professionals are highly encouraged to apply What we offer High-impact role with real authority and responsibility Long-term projects with meaningful contractual involvement Flexible working structure part-time or full-time Professional respectful work environment that values experience and discipline Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 1 536 470 54 - 5 064 774 20 per year Work Location In person
