This is a unique opportunity for a student or recent graduate to apply skills in a professional setting and to learn from experienced Firmware developers Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the development team to design implement and develop Firmware solutions using CC Python and Linux OS Debug and troubleshoot Firmware issues providing timely and accurate resolutions Able to write test cases from Stories Requirements Write efficient maintainable and well-documented code Work with cross-functional teams to integrate Firmware components and ensure seamless functionality Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in CC Python development and Linux OS Assist in the optimization of existing code for improved performance Qualifications Bachelor s in Electrical or Electronics or Computer Science Engineering 8-12 years of experience in hardware product development Strong knowledge of Embedded Systems and Embedded CC Python programming language Strong knowledge of Linux Operating System with hands-on experience Familiarity with different debugging techniques Familiarity with Firmware development tools and version control systems Strong knowledge of microcontroller programming with different peripheral interfaces like UART I2C SPI USB and Memory interfaces etc Strong knowledge in logic circuits electrical interconnects etc Able to use multiple software utilities and automation tools etc Basic understanding of data structures and algorithms Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team workplace Effective communication skills both verbal and written Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies Preferred Skills Experience with Firmware development in a professional setting Hands-on with multi-threading application Knowledge of additional programming languages e g Python C Understanding of object-oriented programming principles Familiarity with Firmware testing methodologies Fortive
