Key Responsibilities Prepare operation theatre by ensuring cleanliness sterilization and proper arrangement of equipment Check functionality of OT instruments anesthesia machines lights suction apparatus cautery and monitoring devices Ensure availability of sterile linen dressings sutures and consumables before procedures Assist in positioning patients as per surgical requirements Assist surgeons and anesthetists by handling instruments equipment and surgical materials Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control practices Anticipate the requirements of the surgical team during operations Operate OT equipment such as cautery machines suction units endoscopic devices etc Record and maintain surgical count of sponges needles and instruments Assist in shifting patients safely to recovery rooms ICU Ensure instruments are counted cleaned sterilized and stored properly after surgery Dispose biomedical waste as per hospital protocol Prepare OT for the next procedure Maintain proper records of OT procedures instruments and equipment usage Assist in maintaining inventory of OT supplies Participate in regular training on infection control biomedical waste management and emergency protocols Coordinate with surgeons anesthetists and nursing staff for smooth OT functioning Qualifications Requirements Diploma Certificate in OT Technician Course or equivalent recognized institute Knowledge of OT protocols sterilization techniques and infection control practices Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience Positive communication skills and ability to work under pressure Willingness to work in shifts weekends and emergency calls Skills Competencies Technical knowledge of surgical instruments and OT equipment Teamwork and coordination with surgical team Attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility Quick decision-making ability in emergency situations Commitment to patient safety and ethical standards SALARY IS NEGOTIABLE FOR DESERVING CANDIDATES Job Type Full-time Pay From 15 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund Work Location In person
