The Position
The Legal Analyst role will report directly to the Legal Analysts Manager to ensure customers receive the best possible solution that fits their needs . The role will be responsible for customers solution for contract life-cycle management. This position is a client-facing role which means they are responsible for their own tasks while also contributing to the process implementation and execution of their own projects. This role will manage deal ingestion entirely, for the Rightsline solution to improve business and ingestion processes.
What you will do:
Work closely with Customers and internal teams to manage contract interpretation and ingestion related services :
- Responsible for interpretation and ingestion of deal terms for North-American clients, for the Media and Entertainment industry.
- Responsible for the ingestion of such deal terms in the UI, ensuring process and standards are being met.
- Serve as the expert in Contract Interpretation and Ingestion for Media and Entertainment Clients, majorly in Rightsline.
- Get trained to ensure proper growth and development
- Responsible for Solution design and execution for assigned projects
- Evaluate business requirements for contract life-cycle management in various applications and systems.
- Identify customer requirements/use cases, and track and document the execution and delivery of such projects
- Manage risks and alert manager to potential escalations and issues of importance
- Ensure requirements, and solutions are understood, agreed to and signed off at the appropriate stages in a project
- Provide detailed analysis of processes and workflows with suggestions for improvement using technology or business process enhancements
- Build relationships with business users, gain deep understanding of their processes and how they are currently utilizing technology to develop improvements
- Engage with internal teams, including, but not limited to Engineering, Product, and QA; to ensure relevant release items or customer initiatives are understood and delivered in a timely fashion
- Arrange and administer training where required for customers to promote the change management approach of the implementation
What you will bring to the role:
- LLB degree, additionally, Bachelors or equivalent work experience. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field preferred
- Experience of 2 years in the legal field.
- Excellent analytical, organizational and presentation skills
- Experience in contract interpretation, contract ingestion.
- Experience in dealing with North American and/or media and entertainment contracts is preferred, but not required
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and work in a time-sensitive, deadline driven environment and prioritize accordingly
- Ability to review functional requirements, analysis and implementation documents and provide feedback
- Ability to make sound judgment and resolve problems without supervision
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate, both written and verbally, with internal and external audiences
- Excellent knowledge and ability in the use of the Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
