About the Role

SIDH has AI/ML use cases in scope recommendation engines, semantic search, skill demand forecasting, resume/skill extraction, GenAI content assistance but none are operationally deployed today. This role builds a governed, sequenced AI/ML roadmap and takes use cases from conceptual promise to production-grade delivery.

Role & responsibilities

- Own the AI/ML strategy and prioritised use-case portfolio across course recommendations, job matching, semantic search, demand forecasting, resume skill extraction, and GenAI assistance.
- Convert assessment findings into a sequenced implementation roadmap tied to data readiness and platform maturity.
- Define model governance, evaluation criteria, deployment readiness, monitoring expectations, and rollback controls for vendor-delivered AI features.
- Partner with product to prioritise use cases that improve discovery, conversion, placement, and engagement metrics.
- Work with the Data Platform Lead on feature data readiness, taxonomy standardisation, and governed data inputs.
- Review vendor AI proposals for relevance, feasibility, bias, explainability,



and operational fit.
- Coordinate with engineering and platform teams on productionisation APIs, latency, observability, and model lifecycle controls

What We Are Looking For

- Experience leading applied ML or AI products into production not only research or proof-of-concept work.
- Strong understanding of recommender systems, NLP and semantic search, forecasting models, and contemporary GenAI/LLM integration patterns.
- Ability to judge data readiness, production constraints, and governance requirements for ML systems.
- Comfort working across product, data, and engineering leadership in a multi-vendor context .

Good to Have

- Experience in skills, jobs, content discovery, search, or citizen-facing personalisation systems.
- Familiarity with MLOps tooling, feature stores, and responsible AI governance frameworks
