Job Summary

is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Design Engineer to join its Engineering & Design team. The candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, drafting, and detailing of civil and structural components for defence infrastructure projects. The role involves preparing structural designs, detailed drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation while ensuring compliance with applicable Indian Standards, project specifications, and defence quality requirements.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in structural analysis software, drafting tools, and civil engineering design principles, along with the ability to coordinate effectively with project execution teams.

Key Responsibilities

Civil & Structural Design

- Prepare structural designs for industrial, commercial, defence, and infrastructure projects.
- Perform structural analysis and design of RCC and steel structures.
- Develop structural calculations, design reports, and engineering documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant IS Codes, design standards, and project specifications.

Drafting & 3D Modelling

- Prepare detailed civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop 3D models for structural components and project layouts.
- Generate General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, and construction drawings.
- Revise and update drawings based on project changes and client comments.

Structural Analysis

- Perform structural analysis using STAAD Pro.
- Validate structural stability,



loading conditions, and member sizing.
- Prepare design calculations for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, steel structures, and support systems.

Project Coordination

- Coordinate with architects, consultants, project engineers, and execution teams.
- Support site teams by resolving technical design queries.
- Participate in design review meetings and ensure timely submission of deliverables.

Documentation

- Prepare BOQs, design calculations, technical specifications, and engineering reports.
- Maintain drawing revisions and document control.
- Ensure proper filing of design documents and project records.

Required Qualifications

Education

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Preferred)
- Diploma in Civil Engineering may also be considered.

Experience

- 3–5 years of experience in civil/structural design and drafting.
- Experience in industrial, infrastructure, defence, commercial, or institutional projects is preferred.

Technical Skills
