Job Title - Business Development Manager (General Insurance)

Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our General Insurance business. The role involves developing business through channel partners, acquiring current customers, managing relationships with insurance companies, and achieving sales targets while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
1. Drive sales of General Insurance products, including Motor, Health, Travel, Personal Accident, Home, and Commercial Insurance.
2.Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, channel partners, DSAs, and corporate clients.
3.Identify new business opportunities and expand the General Insurance portfolio.
4. Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
5.Conduct regular market visits to generate leads and strengthen partner relationships.
6.Coordinate with insurance companies for product updates, pricing, underwriting, and policy issuance.
7.Ensure timely policy issuance, renewals, and customer support.

Train and motivate channel partners on General Insurance products and sales processes.
9.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
10. Maintain accurate sales records and submit MIS reports to management.
11. Ensure compliance with IRDAI guidelines and company policies.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Graduate in any discipline.
2.Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience in General Insurance sales or business development.
3. Experience in Motor Insurance, Health Insurance, or Multi-line General Insurance products.
4. Strong network with dealers, OEMs, brokers, or channel partners will be an added advantage.
