Job Description

cKers Finance is looking for an experienced and dynamic professional for the role of Recovery Head (Collections & Legal) to lead collections, recovery operations, repossession management, and legal recovery processes for its EV financing portfolio across India.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in collections strategy, legal recovery, team management, and asset-backed lending operations within NBFCs or vehicle finance companies.

Key Responsibilities

Collections & Recovery

- Lead end-to-end collections and recovery operations across all delinquency buckets.
- Manage tele-calling, field collections, repossession, settlements, and recovery processes.
- Develop collection strategies to reduce NPAs and improve recovery efficiency.
- Monitor overdue accounts and ensure timely resolution.

Legal Recovery & Compliance

- Handle legal recovery actions, arbitration, settlements, and recovery-related cases.
- Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines and internal policies.
- Coordinate with legal teams, recovery agencies, and external vendors.

Repossession & Asset Management

- Manage repossession and resale lifecycle of financed EV assets.




- Coordinate with repo agents, auction partners, valuers, and yard operators.
- Maximize recovery value through efficient auction and resale management.

Team Management

- Build and manage collections, recovery, and legal teams across regions.
- Define KPIs, KRAs, productivity benchmarks, and performance tracking.
- Conduct audits and field reviews to ensure ethical recovery practices.

Reporting & Stakeholder Management

- Prepare MIS, portfolio analysis, and recovery performance reports.
- Present portfolio health and recovery updates to leadership teams.
- Work closely with Credit, Sales, Risk, and Operations teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 1015 years of experience in Collections, Recovery, or Legal Recovery roles.
- Strong experience in NBFC, vehicle finance, or asset-backed lending.
- Hands-on exposure to field recovery, repossession, and legal collections.
- Valuable understanding of RBI regulations and recovery compliance.
- Proven experience in handling large field teams and agency networks.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills.
