Role: Senior Executive - QA

Final Interview: F2F in Hyderabad.

Seeking a Senior QA Engineer with strong manual testing expertise and a core focus on test automation and AI-enabled systems.

This role is ideal for a quality engineer who not only validates user-facing applications, but also designs, builds, and maintains automated test solutions, tests AI-driven features, and develops AI-assisted tools to improve QA efficiency,scalability, and coverage.

While manual front-end testing remains an significant responsibility, the ideal candidate will demonstrate hands-on automation experience and the ability to test AI-powered tools, models, or decision systems, as well as leverage AI solutions to continuously enhance QA practices.

The Senior QA Engineer works closely with Developers, Product Managers, and Project Managers to ensure error-free data, trustworthy AI outputs, and consistent customer experience across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Manual Front-End Testing

Design and execute comprehensive manual test cases for web-based applications

Validate UI/UX consistency, accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility

Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases, usability issues, and unexpected behavior

Collaborate with product and design teams to ensure alignment with user expectations

Automation & API Testing

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Cypress, Playwright or similar frameworks

Test RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for regression and smoke testing

Perform backend and API validation to ensure data accuracy and system stability

AI & Intelligent Systems Testing

Test AI-enabled features, tools, or decision systems for accuracy, consistency, and reliability





Validate AI outputs against expected behavior, business rules, and quality thresholds

Design test strategies for non-deterministic systems, including model output variability, confidence thresholds, and edge-case or bias scenarios

Validate data pipelines used for AI/ML models, including schema, data quality, and feature integrity

Partner with engineering teams to define AI quality metrics and acceptance criteria

Participate in regression testing for model updates, retraining, or configuration changes

AI for QA Enablement

Design, prototype, or implement AI-assisted tools to improve QA efficiency and coverage

Leverage AI for test case generation, intelligent test data creation, defect pattern analysis, and flaky test detection

Evaluate and adopt AI-powered testing tools and frameworks where appropriate

Identify opportunities to automate or augment manual QA workflows using AI

Quality Assurance Strategy & Collaboration

Define and continuously improve QA processes and testing standards

Participate in sprint planning, refinement, and Agile ceremonies

Provide clear, actionable defect reports and quality insights

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure quality is built in early

Data Validation & Analysis

Validate data integrity using SQL and other tools

Ensure accuracy and consistency of datasets used in application logic and AI workflows

Qualifications

Required

- Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing
- Strong experience in manual front-end testing of web applications
- Solid understanding of web technologies, UI/UX principles, and browser behavior
- Experience with API testing, database testing, and data validation
- Proficiency with SQL and relational databases (DB2, SQL Server, or similar)
- Experience with test management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr
- Experience with designing and executing load, stress and performance tests.
- Experience with AI-powered code editor and developer productivity tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar)

Preferred / AI-Focused Experience

Experience testing AI-powered applications, tools, or data-driven decision systems

Understanding of AI/ML concepts such as model inference, training vs. inference data, and model drift

Experience validating probabilistic or non-deterministic system behavior

Hands-on experience building or using AI-assisted testing tools

Familiarity with MLOps or CI/CD pipelines that include model deployment

Experience designing quality metrics beyond pass/fail (accuracy, stability, confidence, trends)
