- Job Description
- Undertaking Environmental screening,Carrying out Environment and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) studies,Preparing of Environment and Social Management Plan (ESMP) for projects related to Jetty/ Terminal locations, waterside, shoreside construction areas, etc.
- Undertaking Environmental and Social Monitoring programs to ensure effective implementation of ESMP in line with the World Banks Environmental and Social Framework (ESF).
- Support in obtaining and managing statutory environmental clearances, CRZ clearance (if applicable), and NOCs from SPCBs and MoEFCC.
- Support in drafting ToRs, tender documents, and environmental sections of technical reports.




- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, local communities, and government bodies on environmental issues

Desired Profile

- Experience years in EIA studies, ESMP preparation and monitoring
- Prior experience with World Bank/ADB/JICA-funded projects or knowledge of World Bank ESF/OPs is an added advantage
- Environmental laws and regulations knowledge Report writing and communication skillsProject management
- Robust coordination and communication skills, especially with multidisciplinary teams and local authorities
