Position: Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant with 6+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle E-Business Suite Financials. The ideal candidate should possess solid expertise in implementing, supporting, and enhancing Oracle Financial modules, gathering business requirements, preparing functional specifications, and working closely with technical teams to deliver business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure, implement, and support Oracle EBS Financial modules.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
- Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDD), BRDs, MD050s, and testing documents.
- Work closely with technical consultants for customizations, interfaces, reports, and conversions.
- Conduct CRP sessions, UAT support, end-user training, and post-production support.
- Perform setups and troubleshooting in Oracle Financial modules.




- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Coordinate with business users, IT teams, and stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Validate data migration and reconciliation activities during implementation and upgrade projects.

Required Skills

- 6+ years of Oracle EBS Financials experience.
- Strong functional knowledge in:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Cash Management (CM)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- iExpenses
- EBTax

- Experience in Oracle EBS R12/R12.2 implementations and support projects.
- Expertise in accounting processes, financial reporting, and period-end closure.
- Experience preparing functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, and workflows.
- Knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
- Ability to perform testing, defect tracking, and solution validation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
