Job Title: Team Lead Mapping Operations

Job Summary

The Team Lead for Mapping Operations will oversee a team responsible for creating map data. This role includes managing daily operations, ensuring quality and timeliness, and driving team performance to meet objectives. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, a passion for geospatial data, and a proactive problem-solving approach.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of mapping associates and pod leads to achieve operational goals.
- Allocate tasks effectively, ensuring timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, address challenges, and align on priorities.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

- Monitor day-to-day operations to ensure adherence to SLAs, quality metrics, and client guidelines.
- Track team performance using KPIs and provide actionable feedback to team members.
- Prepare and share regular reports on team progress, quality metrics, and operational challenges.

Process Improvement





- Identify inefficiencies in workflows and recommend improvements to enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with the Process Excellence and Quality teams to implement best practices in mapping operations.
- Foster a learning setting that encourages continuous improvement and upskilling.

Stakeholder Collaboration

- Provide regular updates to Team Manager on team performance and process improvements.

Qualifications

Education

- Bachelors degree preferably in Geography, Geospatial Science, Operations, or a related field.

Experience

- 5+ years of experience in mapping operations, geospatial data processing, or related domain.
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role or 2 years of experience in Pod lead role.
