Role & responsibilities

- Solid secondary research capabilities: To collect information related to electricity balance in a country which include capacity, generation, import, export, T&D; losses, demand / consumption etc.
- Primary research: To collect information and insights from key industry stakeholders.
- Perform market sizing for power sector.
- Understand and be able to do market segmentation.
- Ability to perform market forecasting for power sector using statistical tools.
- To analyze the information and provide logical conclusions or findings.
- Develop industry expertise, lead/assist consulting projects as and when required.
- Pick and track trends in the sector, build deep insights and competitive landscape for leading companies across the industry value chain.

Preferred candidate profile

- Forecasting and experience in statistical tools.
- Secondary and primary research.
- Knowledge of power sector industry will be an added advantage.
- Well-honed research skills and the ability to uncover unique insights.
- Broad and well-developed analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
