Role: Senior Java Developer
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)

Location: Hybrid 1x days onsite (Thursday) - Hyderabad, India

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer (Tech Lead) to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. This role combines hands-on engineering with team leadership, requiring expertise in Java, Spring Boot microservices, and cloud technologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers while driving best practices across engineering initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performing applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and manage microservices-based architectures with a focus on reliability and scalability
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services using Spring Boot and JPA/Hibernate
- Implement and manage build and deployment processes using Gradle
- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data structures
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Leverage AWS cloud services for deployment, monitoring, and scaling of applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, bugs, and system challenges
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring,



and code reviews for junior developers
- Drive adoption of best practices in coding standards, architecture, and design patterns
- All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

- Solid hands-on experience with Java (8 or above) in enterprise application development
- Proven experience building Spring Boot microservices architectures
- Experience working with JPA/Hibernate
- Hands-on experience using Gradle for build automation
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems
- Solid knowledge of SQL, database design, and performance optimization
- Working knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda)
- Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to lead and mentor development teams

Preferred Qualifications

- AWS certification (Developer or Solutions Architect) or Oracle certification
- Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
