Hi All,

We are looking for a skilled Senior Python Developer with strong expertise in Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipeline automation, and Bash scripting to join our DevOps/Platform Engineering team. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain scalable automation solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code templates to support our cloud-native applications on Azure.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines, build/release definitions).
- Write Python scripts for automation of build, test, deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks.
- Develop and maintain Bash/Shell scripts for server configuration, log analysis, and infrastructure automation.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Integrate Python applications with Azure services (AKS, App Services, Azure Functions, Key Vault, Monitor, etc.).
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth, secure, and efficient deployments.
- Troubleshoot and optimize pipeline performance, build failures, and environment issues.
- Implement security best practices and compliance standards in automation and deployment processes.
- Maintain documentation for scripts, pipelines, and deployment procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

- 6-9 years of hands-on experience in Python development (scripting, automation, API integrations).




- Robust proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting for Linux/Unix environments.
- Solid experience with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, Boards).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD concepts, Git workflows, and version control (Git).
- Working knowledge of Azure cloud services (AKS, App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, Monitor).
- Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/AKS).
- Good understanding of security, compliance, and DevSecOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Terraform Associate, or similar.
- Experience with monitoring & logging tools (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Exposure to cloud-native architectures, microservices, and serverless computing.

Nice-to-Have Skills

- PowerShell scripting
- Experience with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
- Knowledge of security scanning tools (Snyk, SonarQube, OWASP ZAP)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
