Professor - Law

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Professor with expertise in Law to join our law faculty. The ideal candidate will bring strong academic credentials, teaching experience, and a passion for legal education and research. The position involves curriculum development, scholarly research, student mentoring, and academic leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Learning:

- Deliver engaging and effective lectures, tutorials, and seminars in Law.

- Design and update course syllabi in line with academic and industry developments.

- Foster an interactive and inclusive learning environment.

- Evaluate student performance through exams, assignments, and practical exercises.

Research & Scholarship:

- Undertake high-quality research and contribute to the body of legal scholarship.

- Publish research papers in peer-reviewed journals and participate in academic conferences.

- Collaborate on interdisciplinary research projects and grant proposals.

- Supervise dissertations, projects, and doctoral research (if applicable).

Academic Leadership & Service:

- Contribute to departmental planning, academic reviews,



and curriculum development.

- Serve on academic and administrative committees.

- Guide junior faculty and contribute to faculty development initiatives.

- Engage with external legal communities, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:

- Ph.D. in Law

- Strong academic background with demonstrated teaching and research capabilities.

For Professor:

- Minimum of 10 years of total teaching/research experience, including at least 3 years as an Associate Professor.

- At least 10 publications in reputed journals and demonstrated academic leadership.

- Experience in supervising Ph.D. students (preferred).

Key Competencies:

- In-depth knowledge of Indian and international commercial/corporate laws.

- Effective communication and classroom management skills.

- Strong research orientation and academic writing proficiency.

- Commitment to academic excellence and institutional development.
