We seek a meticulous R&D; Chemist to contribute to innovative API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) synthesis at Synnat Pharma Private Limited. As an integral part of our expanding R&D; team in Visakhapatnam, you will be instrumental in executing experiments, maintaining detailed records, and ensuring the safe operation of laboratory equipment. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field, coupled with 1+ years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D;, robust analytical chemistry skills, proficiency in laboratory techniques, and excellent data analysis abilities. Essential skills include strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Experimental Execution & Design

- Conduct API synthesis experiments, documenting all procedures and deviations meticulously.
- Use ChemDraw to design reaction schemes and chemical structures.
- Analyze raw data to identify trends and draw scientific conclusions.

2. Laboratory Operations

- Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot R&D; equipment (e.g., rotovaps, hydrogenators, stirrers).




- Maintain strict cleanliness of glassware and perform routine equipment maintenance to prevent downtime.
- Maintain detailed equipment usage and calibration logs for regulatory compliance.

3. Sample & Analytical Management

- Prepare and submit samples for NMR and Mass Spectrometry; interpret results against expected values.
- Manage sample inventories (storage, expiry, and tracking) and coordinate with analytical teams.
- Ensure hazardous waste disposal follows environmental and safety regulations.

4. Material & Inventory Control

- Prepare raw material indents and coordinate with procurement to ensure steady supply.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and implement proper storage protocols to prevent contamination.

5. Safety, Data Integrity & Reporting

- Adhere to cGMP and safety protocols, participating in audits and safety training.
- Generate technical reports, SOPs, and data visualizations (graphs/charts).
- Present research findings to the team and maintain records that ensure full reproducibility
