Must have Skills

1. A strict NO to those who only have training experience, knowledge etc. regarding RAP framework. Regular ABAP experience wont suffice and only ABAP resources are not considered.

2. Must be having hands on experience working on BTP RAP framework.

3. Have SAP greenfield end-to-end implementation.

4. Strong working experience about custom development process on RAP framework.

5. Robust on Behavior definition, implement behavior logic, creation of service definition, service binding etc.

6. Strong on Integration Touchpoints like RAP OData APIs, BTP destinations, Event Mesh (if asynchronous)

7. Very comfortable on clean core concepts ( should know, even if not having experience )

8. Strong on core RAP Artifacts, Event handling, Transaction handling, Error handling, RAP Authorization, Validation & Determinations, Actions & Functions.

9. Clearly differentiate between OData V2 vs V4.

10. Strong on integrations with external/legacy/3PL systems

11. Strong on RAP frameworks performance best practices like using CDS pushdown, avoid select*, use associations etc.
