Role & responsibilities

The Zonal Head Gold Loan will be responsible for driving business growth, profitability, and operational excellence across the assigned zone. The role entails managing a team of Regional Managers, Area Managers and branch networks, ensuring portfolio quality and delivering superior customer experiences while maintaining compliance with regulatory and risk frameworks.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Drive gold loan disbursement targets and portfolio growth for the zone
- Develop and execute strategic business plans aligned with organizational goals
- Drive acquisition through multiple channels.
- Monitor Region & branch performance and ensure target achievement
- Identify new market opportunities and expansion strategies
- Optimize yield, margins, and overall revenue performance
- Lead and manage Regional Managers, Area Managers, Branch Managers and frontline teams
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to Regional Managers within the Zone, setting clear objectives and expectations to drive performance.
- Build a high-performance culture with strong ownership and accountability
- Conduct regular reviews, coaching, and mentoring sessions




- Drive recruitment, training and other employee initiatives
- Manage attrition and employee engagement within the zone
- Ensure high asset quality and minimize delinquency.
- Implement robust credit & risk controls across branches
- Monitor auction processes and recovery efficiency
- Ensure adherence to internal audit, compliance and regulatory guidelines
- Drive fraud prevention and vigilance across operations
- Ensure seamless branch operations and customer service delivery
- Manage Zonal Budgets and expenses effectively, optimizing resource allocation to achieve financial targets and maximize profitability.
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality customer service across the regions, addressing escalations promptly and effectively with in the defined TAT.
- Participate in audits and implement corrective actions

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate / Post Graduate with 15+ years of experience in NBFC/Banking with Gold Loan experience.
- Should have experience in managing a region / zone.
