Position Overview

We are seeking highly motivated Program Associates to support the design, development, execution, and scaling of climate and environmental intelligence projects. The role requires a blend of environmental research, public policy understanding, government engagement, proposal development, public procurement awareness, stakeholder management, and project execution capabilities.

The selected candidates will work closely with government departments, PSUs, Smart Cities, development agencies, research institutions, and internal technical teams to support project acquisition and implementation.

Key ResponsibilitiesProposal Development & Business Support

- Support preparation of technical proposals, EOIs, RFP responses, grant applications, and funding proposals.

- Develop evidence-based narratives supported by environmental data, policy analysis, and impact projections.

- Assist in identifying government, CSR, multilateral, and philanthropic funding opportunities.

- Track tenders, procurement notices, and strategic opportunities across sectors.

Public Sector Engagement (Domestic & International)

- Support engagement with Central & State Government departments, Pollution Control Boards, Disaster Management Authorities, Urban Local Bodies, and PSUs.

- Conduct stakeholder mapping and opportunity assessment exercises.

- Assist in organizing consultations, workshops, meetings, and stakeholder engagement activities.





- Support compliance documentation and government reporting requirements.

Project Management

- Support end-to-end project execution from opportunity identification through project closure.

- Maintain project trackers, timelines, documentation, and progress reports.

- Coordinate with technical, operations, product, and leadership teams.

- Monitor project deliverables and ensure timely completion of milestones.

Research, Analytics & Knowledge Development

- Conduct environmental, climate, weather, air quality, and sustainability-related research.

- Analyse environmental datasets and generate actionable insights.

- Develop policy briefs, regulatory summaries, impact assessments, concept notes, and technical reports.

- Contribute to white papers, scientific publications, case studies, and thought leadership content.

- Perform GIS-based spatial analysis and generate maps supporting project planning and deployment strategies.

Networking & Ecosystem Building

- Build and maintain professional relationships across government, private sector, academia, NGOs, development agencies, and funding organisations.

- Represent Aurassure at conferences, workshops, industry events,



and stakeholder meetings.

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Urban Planning, Public Policy, Geography, Climate Studies, Sustainability, Urban Data Science or Related disciplines

Preferred Experience

- 0-3 years of experience in environmental projects, public policy, climate resilience, urban development, consulting, government programs, NGOs, or research organizations.

- Experience supporting government projects or institutional engagements is preferred.

- Exposure to proposal writing, grants, tenders, or procurement processes will be an advantage.

Required SkillsMust Have

- Excellent analytical and research skills.

- Strong report writing and presentation development skills.

- Understanding of ESG, environmental and weather & climate-related challenges.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- Robust proficiency in MS Office, Python, relevant coding languages.

Preferred

GIS tools (QGIS, ArcGIS), Power BI, Tableau, or dashboarding tools, Python or data analytics skills, Understanding of government procurement systems and tendering processes, Familiarity with GeM, CPPP, or state procurement platforms.
