We are hiring Blasting operator for our client company for Sulur, Coimbatore location.

Role & responsibilities

1. Blasting operator operates equipment to clean the surfaces from rust, dust, oil and roughen the surfaces using shot/ grit blasting.
2. Responsible for setting up parts & blasting equipment maintaining.
3. Loading and mixing of shot/ grit in pressure pot tank.
4. Responsible for safety measures, such as using protective clothing and equipment and ensuring that work area is maintained 5S.
5. Responsible for Audit & Document maintaining related of job cards processed & equipment maintenance checklist ,5S.
6. Knowledge of First time right blasting process, blasting defects and rework correction methods.
7. Responsible for implementing monthly suggestion scheme in the Department.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience with Grit/Shot Blasting process.

Ability to perform Blasting process, Abrasive mixing & Blasting defects knowledge

Understanding of Blasting equipment operation & maintenance of equipments
