The Public Arts Trust of India (PATI) is seeking a creative, organised, and motivated Junior Graphic Design Marketing Coordinator to support the organisations visual communications, marketing initiatives, audience development strategies, and public programming activities.

This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional looking to build experience across graphic design, branding, social media, marketing, communications, exhibitions, and cultural events. Working closely with the Director, curatorial team, and programme managers, you will help shape and communicate PATIs work through compelling visual storytelling, strategic outreach, and engaging audience experiences.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing marketing campaigns, producing design assets, managing digital communications, documenting programmes, and supporting the delivery of Jaipur Art Week, Jodhpur Arts Week, and PATIs year-round programmes, including SITE Jodhpur and other public engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design, Branding Visual Communications

- Develop graphic design assets for PATIs communications, fundraising, audience development, and marketing activities.
- Design sponsorship decks, presentations, reports, advertisements, event collateral, newsletters, website graphics, and promotional materials.
- Create social media templates, campaign creatives, digital assets, and branded communication materials.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of PATIs visual identity across all digital and physical platforms.
- Ensure consistency in branding, typography, visual language, and design standards across the organisation.
- Assist with exhibition graphics, wayfinding, signage, interpretation panels, and visitor-facing materials for exhibitions and public programmes.

Marketing, Communications Production of Collateral Assets

- Lead the design, production, and delivery of marketing collateral across PATIs programmes, exhibitions, and events.
- Develop print and digital assets including brochures, flyers, posters, invitations, exhibition guides, signage, sponsorship decks, presentations, advertisements, and promotional materials.
- Coordinate with printers, fabricators, photographers, videographers, vendors, and production partners to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of assets.




- Support the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, media, and on-ground channels.
- Design and distribute newsletters, press releases, invitations, and other communication materials.
- Assist in budgeting, production scheduling, and asset management for exhibitions, festivals, and public programmes.
- Maintain organised archives of design files, marketing materials, photography, video documentation, and brand resources.
- Track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and audience engagement activities, providing recommendations for future improvements.

Content Creation Documentation

- Conduct photo and video documentation of exhibitions, workshops, talks, residencies, community programmes, and events.
- Edit and prepare visual content for social media, newsletters, websites, presentations, and reports.
- Assist in developing compelling narratives and storytelling content that communicate the impact of PATIs work.
- Support content creation for artist features, programme announcements, audience engagement initiatives, and institutional communications.

Audience Development Stakeholder Communications

- Manage and regularly update PATIs contact databases, including artists, patrons, sponsors, media contacts, partners, and stakeholders.
- Support audience development initiatives through targeted communication and outreach strategies.
- Assist in maintaining and growing both VIP and Public audience engagement streams.
- Coordinate communication with artists, artisans, sponsors, and collaborators to ensure correct crediting, permissions, and copyright clearances are obtained.
- Support the development of data collection systems and reporting structures to strengthen PATIs outreach and audience engagement strategies.

Events, Exhibitions Programme Support

- Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of SITE Jodhpur, and other PATI programmes.
- Provide on-ground support during exhibitions, installations, workshops, talks, performances,



and public events.
- Assist with exhibition production, event branding, signage implementation, and visitor experience materials.
- Work closely with artists, curators, designers, and programme teams to support successful project delivery.
- Contribute to exhibition planning, presentation, and implementation where required.

Administration Reporting

- Track and report on key communications, marketing, and audience engagement metrics.
- Support administrative tasks related to communications, marketing, events, and programme delivery.
- Maintain organised digital archives and project documentation.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required by the Director or line manager.

Person Specification

Essential

- Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Canva.
- Excellent visual design skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team workplace.
- Interest in contemporary art, design, culture, public engagement, and community-based programming.
- Alignment with the mission and values of the Public Arts Trust of India.

Desirable

- 13 years of relevant experience, including internships, freelance projects, or professional roles.
- Experience managing social media platforms and content calendars.
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, SurveyMonkey, and similar tools.
- Photography, videography, and video editing skills.
- Experience supporting exhibitions, festivals, cultural events, or public programmes.
- Understanding of audience development, database management, and data collection systems.
- Familiarity with copyright, image permissions, and data protection practices.
