Managing & Controlling Plant Operations

1. Plant Operations Management

- Lead and manage overall operations of the Miraj Nanhwara Plant.
- Ensure smooth execution of production activities with a target capacity of 20,000 MT.
- Monitor daily plant performance and operational efficiency.

1. Production Planning & Execution

- Plan and execute production schedules as per business requirements.
- Ensure optimum utilization of machinery, manpower, and resources.
- Achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards.

1. Maintenance & Plant Upkeep

- Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure periodic maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
- Maintain overall plant hygiene, housekeeping, and infrastructure upkeep.

1. Inventory & SAP Management

- Manage raw material, packing material, and spare inventory effectively.
- Ensure inventory control and tracking through SAP.
- Maintain optimum stock levels to avoid production disruptions.

1. Process & Technical Operations

- Handle VRM Operations, Crushing, Grinding, Blending, and Packing processes.
- Monitor process parameters to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all manufacturing processes.

1. Cost Control & Budgeting

- Monitor plant operational costs and control wastage.
- Prepare and manage plant budgets effectively.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives to improve profitability.

1. Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement

- Implement 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across plant operations.




- Improve productivity and manufacturing efficiency through lean tools.

1. Safety, Health & Workplace

- Ensure implementation of safety standards and safe work practices.
- Drive waste management initiatives and environmental compliance.
- Maintain workplace hygiene, discipline, and orderliness.

1. Planned Maintenance & Spare Management

- Drive planned preventive maintenance programs.
- Ensure availability of critical spares for uninterrupted operations.
- Reduce machine downtime through effective maintenance planning.

1. Quality Improvement & Problem Solving

- Promote a problem-solving culture within the plant team.
- Reduce quality issues and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and process controls.

1. Dispatch & Customer Service

- Ensure timely dispatch of finished goods.
- Maintain customer service levels by reducing Turnaround Time (TAT).
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams for smooth dispatch operations.

1. Team & Manpower Management

- Lead and manage plant manpower effectively.
- Monitor team performance, discipline, and productivity.
- Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Preferred candidate profile

- Production & Plant Operations Management including VRM, Crushing, Grinding, Blending, and Packing operations.
- Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance, Planned Maintenance Systems, and Critical Spare Management.
- SAP-based Inventory Management, Material Planning, and Cost Control.
- Implementation of 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Industrial Safety, Quality Management, Waste Management, and Process Optimization.
