The Valuations Group specializes in valuation of wide spectrum of businesses, shares, and assets (tangible and intangible) that assists clients in taking key decisions in several areas including, strategic transactions (such as acquisitions, mergers, divestitures and joint ventures), internal/financial restructuring, strategic decision making and legal issues.

What will be your responsibilities:
We are looking for a Manager to join the Valuation Advisory practice, specializing in the valuation of financial instruments, derivatives and complex securities. The role will involve leading client engagements across financial reporting, transactions, regulatory and audit-support requirements.

The candidate will independently manage valuation engagements for financial instruments, build and review valuation models, develop defensible valuation conclusions, prepare high-quality documentation, manage client and auditor discussions, and coach junior team members. The role requires strong technical valuation knowledge, quantitative modelling ability, commercial judgment and the ability to communicate complex valuation matters clearly to senior stakeholders.

Business Combinations / Purchase Price Allocation
Goodwill Impairments
Gift and Estate Valuation
409A/Stock Compensation (ASC 718)
Reviewing of 3rd party valuations
Assembling market/guideline/comparable financial and valuation data
Valuation of Equity, Debt, Derivatives etc.
Litigation arising out of Shareholder disputes etc.
Financial Modelling
Understanding of US Tax laws will be preferred.
Financial Reporting and Regulatory compliance under IFRS and/or US GAAP

What you bring in:
CFA, CA, MBA etc.
CFA or MBA (Finance) preferred
Proven hands -on experience
Ability and interest to work on multiple high-value projects simultaneously
Demonstrated proficiency in financial management software or willingness to learn
8+ years’ experience in business valuation field
Ability to think laterally and analytically
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
Sound independent judgement and great ethical values
