Role overview
As a Business Development Executive - SME , you will be responsible for acquiring new business
by engaging with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) looking to hire early talent. This is
a high-impact, individual contributor role where you'll own the complete sales cycle—from
prospecting and discovery to product demonstrations, commercial discussions, and closing
deals.

Roles and Responsibilities | What does the job entail?
● Identify and prospect potential SME customers through outbound channels such as
LinkedIn, cold calling, email outreach, referrals, and other lead generation platforms.
● Research target accounts and engage with key decision-makers including Founders, HR
Heads, Talent Acquisition teams, and Business Leaders.
● Conduct discovery calls to understand hiring challenges and business requirements.
● Deliver compelling product demonstrations showcasing Superset's recruitment solutions.
● Own the complete sales lifecycle-from prospecting, qualification, demos, proposal
sharing, commercial negotiations, and contract closure.
● Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and update opportunities consistently in the
CRM.
● Collaborate with Customer Success and Operations teams to ensure a smooth customer
onboarding experience.
● Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.




● Capture customer feedback and market insights to help improve our products and
go-to-market strategy.

Requirements | You’ll be a great addition to our team if:
● 1-4 years of experience in Business Development, B2C Sales, B2B Sales, Inside Sales,
or SaaS Sales.
● Hands-on experience with outbound prospecting and cold calling.
● Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
● Ability to independently manage the end-to-end sales process.
● Comfortable working with sales CRM tools such as Zoho CRM, HubSpot, Salesforce, or
similar platforms.
● Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work in a rapid-paced, target-driven
environment.
● Bachelor's degree in any discipline
