Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Assistant to join our Accounts team. The candidate will assist in daily accounting activities, maintain financial records, and support the smooth functioning of the Accounts Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter accounting transactions in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Maintain cash vouchers, payment vouchers, and expense records.
- Record bank transactions and assist in bank reconciliation.
- Prepare payment documents, cheques, and NEFT/RTGS details.
- Assist in payroll-related accounting entries.
- Maintain customer and vendor ledgers.
- Prepare customer credit notes and supplier debit notes.
- Assist in GST data preparation and statutory documentation.
- Maintain proper filing of invoices, vouchers, and financial records.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments regarding account-related queries.
- Support internal and statutory audits.
- Perform other accounting tasks assigned by the Accounts Manager or Management.
Candidate Profile
- B.Com / M.Com (Commerce Graduate)
- 1 - 2 years of experience in accounting (Freshers with good accounting knowledge are welcome to apply.)
- Basic knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Understanding of accounting principles and GST.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the Accounts field.
- Honest, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
Salary
1.80 LPA 3.00 LPA (Based on qualification, skills, and experience)
