Job Summary
The Boeing Company is currently looking for Associate Design Engineering position seeking to design, develop and test current computing systems and applications across PLM to facilitate integration of new technologies and the transition from legacy systems to support business requirements. This position reports directly to the Engineering Manager. As a member of PLM team, you will be responsible for the development of system integration strategies and architectures that promote use of common tools and processes. A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as these positions will focus on working directly with the Manager to deliver Engineering statements of work to meet the organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
Experience in FEA(Finite Element Analysis) tools and processes.
Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 and 3DExperience.
Experience working on any CAD applications like CATIA V5, NX, Solidworks.
Basic understanding of FMEA methodologies and principles.
Experience with stress analysis for structural components.
Hands on experience on any CAE tools like Nastran, Hyperworks, etc…
Experience in 3DExperience Simulia Process composer application can be added advantage.




Good Knowledge on Various Catia Work benches 3D Part Modelling & Assembly.
Good Knowledge of design modelling approaches followed across industries.
Provide Daily/ Weekly / Monthly activity report to the Project Lead/Engineering Manager.
Work Experience on PLM process is added advantage.
Experience in Manual Testing for CAD tools is added advantage.
Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management Tool is added advantage. (ADO or Jira)
Work as a local team of Design and stress Engineers.

Skill Requirements
Engineering Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical/Automotive/Aeronautical/Electrical etc. related field or equivalent.
This position requires 2+ years of demonstrated experience on Catia V5/V6 and 3DExperience.
This position requires 2 to 5 years of CAD Design experience with the exposure to mechanical design Tools and Processes.
Knowledge and understanding of various design workflows, in an end-to-end product development with a system / system-of-systems environment is preferred.
Experience and familiarity PLM, preferably 3DExperience platform is added advantage.
Advanced knowledge of design concepts and techniques (e.g., concurrent engineering, Design for Manufacture/Assembly [DFM/A]).
Functional experience of product development in Automative /Locomotive or Aerospace domain is added advantage.
Familiarity with the Agile/SAFe Process.
Strong written, verbal communication with engineers, management, and non-engineering support staff.
Ability to work in a virtual team environment.

Other Requirements
Education/experience typically acquired through Engineering (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2-5 years of work experience.
