Job Summary
We are looking for a senior communications leader to own our AI/GenAI narrative and raise our category visibility through disciplined storytelling, tier‑1 media influence, and executive thought leadership. This role will translate complex AI capabilities into credible, business‑led messages, protect trust in sensitive moments, and drive a consistent communications cadence across earned, owned, social, and selective paid channels.

Key Responsibilities
Establish a clear AI/GenAI narrative architecture (message pillars, proof points, guardrails, FAQs) adopted across spokespeople and key channels.
Increase tier‑1 visibility and message pull‑through on priority AI themes (platform, partnerships, applied use cases, Responsible AI).
Build a repeatable executive thought‑leadership engine (bylines, interviews, keynotes, briefings) for top spokespeople.
Create a reliable “always‑on” cadence while orchestrating high‑impact peaks around major launches/partnerships/industry moments.
Implement a measurement framework (quality of coverage, sentiment, SOV where applicable, message resonance, engagement) to guide decisions.

Skill Requirements
Narrative Strategy & Positioning (AI/GenAI)
Own the AI/GenAI narrative: message pillars, differentiation, proof points, and Responsible AI guardrails.
Translate technical concepts into business outcomes (productivity, engineering impact, modernization, risk/compliance, customer experience).
Partner with the AI marketing team and business leaders to build a consistent storyline + evidence base (client examples, benchmarks, announcements).

Media Relations & Reputation Leadership




Build and sustain high‑trust relationships with top‑tier business and technology media.
Drive proactive story development: interviews, features, contributed content, and rapid response.
Lead issues preparedness and response on AI‑sensitive topics (ethics, bias, data/privacy, workforce impact, model governance), in coordination with Legal/Compliance.

Executive Thought Leadership & Speaker Readiness
Create a structured program for executive visibility: talking points, POVs, briefing books, Q&A; banks, media training support conference/keynote positioning, award strategies, and analyst/industry platforms.
Ensure executives show up with clarity, consistency, and credibility on AI/GenAI.

Integrated Campaigns (Earned + Owned + Social + Selective Paid)
Plan and execute campaigns across channels (webinars, podcasts, media roundtables, announcements).
Partner with digital and social teams to maximize distribution, engagement, and conversion of flagship content.
Apply analytics to optimize topics, formats, and timing.

Internal Communications & Employee Advocacy (AI Focus)
Drive leadership‑led internal communications that keep employees aligned on AI strategy, priorities, and progress.
Enable employee advocacy through simplified explainers, FAQs, and curated content moments — without over‑promising.

Stakeholder Management & Governance
Work in a matrix with other vertical and geo comms leads and business leaders to ensure alignment and compliance.
Work with agencies and specialist partners with a high bar on accuracy, judgment, and speed.

Experience & Qualifications
10–12 years in corporate PR, reputation communications, or tech communications (B2B preferred).
Demonstrated ability to lead thought leadership and tier‑1 media outcomes with senior spokespeople.
Robust writing and editorial judgment: press materials, POVs, executive briefs, Q&As;, crisis lines.
Proven experience operating in high‑stakes environments with Legal/Compliance partnerships.
Comfortable working in ambiguity with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines.
