Job Summary
Job Description:BIOVIATechnical Engineer & Business AnalystRole Summary:Experienced Business Analyst with expertise inBIOVIAimplementations, including static data configuration and workflow design. Strong background in SDLC documentation and laboratory regulatory compliance (ISO, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GLP/GMP), with hands-on experience integrating One Lab with ERP, MES, ELN, and instrument systems.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures
Work with at least two different database platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, Redshift)
Perform data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting using SQL
Collaborate with developers and analysts to support data requirements
Use GitHub for basic version control activities (pull, commit, push, review changes)

Required Skills & Experience
Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, subqueries, aggregations, performance tuning)
Hands-on experience with minimum two database technologies
Understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling basics
Working knowledge of GitHub for source code management
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented workplace
Good to Have
Exposure to Trino/DBT
Using VS Code/Github Co-Pilot assisted code development
Experience supporting reporting, analytics, or data integration use cases
Familiarity with SDLC and basic DevOps practices

Key Responsibilities
BIOVIAOne Lab configuration,



define and govern static data standards (naming, vocabularies, metadata rules)
Support creation, validation, and bulk upload of static/reference data
Recommend implementation approaches for chain of custody, specifications, OOS handling, and compliance
Document configurations, test cases, and handover materials; support UAT and workshops
Collaborate withBIOVIAconsultants, lab stakeholders, and data engineering teams
Identify design gaps, risks, and mitigation recommendations

Required Skills & Experience
Hands-on experience withBIOVIAOne Lab implementation or administration
Strong knowledge of lab informatics (sample lifecycle, chain of custody, specs, LIMS/ELN)
Experience with static data standards, data cleansing, and bulk uploads
Ability to map One Lab data to external systems or data lakes (ETL/ELT awareness)
Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
Good to Have
Experience supporting regulatory compliance (FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GLP/GMP, ISO)
Familiarity with integrations across ERP, MES, ELN, and instrument data systems
Prior experience working in cross-functional lab or quality environments

Key Responsibilities
1. To conduct in-depth analysis to understand client needs, challenges, and opportunities, translating them into clear and concise functional specifications.
2. To analyze available options, considering feasibility, cost, and alignment with business requirements and suggest solutions.
3. To participate and facilitate the walkthrough to brief the functional specification mapping to business requirements.
4. To prepare and / or aid the preparation of test cases in line with functional requirements
5. Tackle complex business problems and develop innovative solutions.
