Job Summary
The System Tester - Storage plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of storage systems through systematic testing. This role focuses on executing test plans and cases to validate functionalities, identify defects, and contribute to the continuous improvement of software products. By adhering to quality standards and collaborating with team members, the tester will support the organization in meeting client requirements effectively.

Key Responsibilities
1. Execute Functionality Tests For Storage Systems According To The Defined Test Plan And Specific Test Cases, Ensuring Alignment With Quality Standards.
2.



Update Test Case Execution Status In The Defect Tracking System And Accurately Log Any Identified Defects For Resolution.
3. Collaborate With Team Members During Discussions And Provide Updates To Clients Regarding Testing Progress And Outcomes.
4. Assist In Creating Test Cases Based On Functional Specifications And Software Requirement Specifications Documents To Ensure Comprehensive Test Coverage.

Skill Requirements
1. Basic Understanding Of System Testing Methodologies, Particularly In Storage Environments.
2. Familiarity With Storage Solutions And Their Functionalities.
3. Basic Knowledge Of Defect Tracking Tools And Test Management Systems.
4. Fundamental Understanding Of Linux And Windows Operating Systems.

Other Requirements
1. Optional But Valuable Certifications Include Istqb Certified Tester Foundation Level.
2. Familiarity With Vmware Environments Is Beneficial But Not Mandatory.
