Job Summary
The Senior Test Lead will be responsible for overseeing End-to-end functional testing, selenium, and software testing processes. They will lead the testing team, develop test strategies, and ensure the quality and efficiency of the testing activities to meet project objectives.

Key Responsibilities
• Testing complex calculation streams, business rules (e.g., accelerators, clawbacks, and quotas), and payout models for accuracy.
• Verifying automated data flows between Varicent and external systems like CRM (Salesforce)
• Executing test cases for core Varicent modules
• Collaborating with sales and finance stakeholders to validate that the platform reflects real-world compensation scenarios.
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs using tools like JIRA,



and working with developers to ensure timely fixes before monthly commission cycles.

Skill Requirements
• Valuable experience with the Varicent (formerly IBM ICM) platform.
• Advance SQL skills for data validation, querying large datasets, and checking table-level calculations.
• Understanding of Sales Performance Management (SPM) and Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) processes.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright, and languages such as Java or Python.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with active participation in sprint planning and stand-ups.
• Provide guidance to junior team members
• Act as the primary quality point of contact for stakeholders during releases, migrations, or system transitions.

Other Requirements
1. ISTQB Certification in software testing is a plus.
