Job Summary
We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to architect, design, and deliver enterprise‑scale, cloud‑native platforms built on Java, Microservices, and Event‑Driven Architecture, with a modern Micro‑Frontend (MFE)‑based React UI layer. This role requires strong system design expertise, hands‑on engineering leadership, and the ability to drive technical direction, engineering rigor, and operational excellence across backend and frontend boundaries. You will work on greenfield service development, apply Domain‑Driven Design (DDD), and design scalable, decision‑centric and workflow‑driven systems using Kafka, rules engines, workflows, and Micro‑Frontend architectures.
Key Responsibilities
• Own end‑to‑end design and development of Java‑based microservices and APIs
• Architect event‑driven, asynchronous systems using Kafka
• Apply Domain‑Driven Design (DDD) to model complex business domains
• Design and implement CQRS / Event Sourcing patterns (Axon preferred)
• Implement business rules and decision logic using Drools or similar rule engines
• Design and orchestrate long‑running workflows using RHPAM or equivalent workflow platforms
• Define and govern Micro‑Frontend (MFE) architecture using React
• Build scalable, secure REST and async APIs for frontend and partner integrations
• Ensure observability, fault tolerance, and production readiness
• Drive CI/CD automation, quality gates, and release governance
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and platform planning
Skill Requirements
Required Technical Skills
• Solid hands‑on experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Proven experience building microservices‑based architecture
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalability patterns
• Hands‑on experience with Kafka or equivalent messaging platforms
• Practical implementation of Event‑Driven Architecture (EDA)
• Strong working experience with React
• Hands‑on exposure to Micro‑Frontend (MFE) architecture
• Experience designing API‑first, contract‑driven backend‑to‑frontend integrations
• Understanding of frontend performance, versioning, and independent deployment models
• Exposure to Drools or similar rule engines
• Experience with workflow / process orchestration platforms such as RHPAM, Camunda, or equivalent
• Hands‑on experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Experience with cloud‑native deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies
