Job Summary
The Senior Developer will be responsible for leveraging their expertise in 3DEXPERIENCE Platform Fundamentals, CAD modelling and testing for CATIA V5/V6 and 3DExperience to drive projects and deliver solutions. They will play a key role in implementing, customizing, and optimizing the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to meet the business requirements efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
• Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 and 3DExperience Native and Web Application.
• CAD modelling and testing for CATIA V5/V6 and 3DExperience.
• Strong understanding of GD&T;, engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Valuable Knowledge on Various Catia Work benches 3D Part Modelling, Surface Design, Assembly, Sheet Metal, Relational Modelling, Functional Tolerance and Annotation, etc.
• Good Knowledge of different design modelling approaches followed across industries.
• Familiarity with Fasteners & Tubing design is an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience with technical documentation.
• Knowledge of PLM Implementation process (Green field or Brown field)
• Knowledge of Aerospace fasteners standards is an add-on (NAS, SAE, ISO, DIN, MIL etc.,)
• Knowledge of Aerospace materials is an add-on (Al alloys, Ti alloys, Steels and Stainless Steel, Composites)




• Hands on experience in the CAD modelling of Standard parts/Fastener components.
• Knowledge on DMU and tolerance stack up analysis is preferable.
• Provide Weekly / Monthly daily activity report to the Project Lead/Engineering Manager.
• Work Experience on PLM process is added advantage.
• Experience in Manual Testing for CAD tools is added advantage.
• Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management Tool. (ADO or Jira)
• Familiarization with DS Release and Support Lifecycle is added advantage.
• Knowledge on automation and customization of CAD tools is added advantage.
• Candidate must have strong attention to detail and knowledge on Mechanical Design rules.

Skill Requirements
• Engineering Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical/Automotive/Aeronautical/Electrical etc. related field or equivalent.
• This position requires 2+ years of demonstrated experience on Catia V5/V6 and 3DExperience.
• Well versed in MS Tools.
• This position requires 2 to 5 years of CAD Design experience with the exposure to mechanical design Tools and Processes.
• Knowledge and understanding of various design workflows, in an end-to-end product development with a system / system-of-systems environment is preferred.
• Experience and familiarity PLM, preferably 3DExperience platform is added advantage.
• Advanced knowledge of design concepts and techniques (e.g., concurrent engineering, Design for Manufacture/Assembly [DFM/A]).
• Functional experience of product development in Automotive /Locomotive or Aerospace domain is added advantage.
• Familiarity with the Agile/SAFe Process.
• Strong written, verbal communication with engineers, management, and non-engineering support staff.
• Ability to work in a virtual team environment.

Other Requirements
• Education/experience typically acquired through Engineering (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2-5 years of work experience.
• The position requires 4 days a week working from BIETC office in Devanahalli, Bengaluru.
