Role Overview
We are seeking a high-autonomy Senior Oracle DBA (8+ years) to lead the stability and performance engineering of our business-critical database estate. This role is designed for a "Full-Stack" database expert who bridges the gap between System Administration (Solaris/ExaCC), Database Core (11g–19c), and Application Development. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Stability: Investigate deep-seated "pain points" to implement permanent fixes, ensuring business-critical databases remain stable and scalable.
Performance Architecture: Perform advanced tuning of inefficient queries and optimize database kernel parameters to improve overall system throughput.
Exadata & Solaris Management: Manage high-performance workloads on Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC) and legacy Solaris environments.
Multitenant Expert: Administer and optimize Oracle CDB/PDB architectures (12.2+), ensuring efficient resource isolation.
Proactive Observability: Utilize OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager) to monitor trends, identify anomalies, and perform Capacity Planning to stay ahead of growth.
Automation & Scripting: Write and maintain sophisticated scripts (Shell/PL-SQL) for backups, schema refreshes, and automated health checks.

Technical Requirements
Experience: 8+ years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience in large-scale, international environments.
Versions: Expert-level knowledge of Oracle RDBMS 11.2, 12.1, 12.2, and 19c.
Infrastructure:



Proven experience with Solaris (OS-level troubleshooting) and ExaCC (Cloud@Customer).
Tooling: Mastery of OEM for alerting/monitoring and RMAN for backup/recovery strategies.
Development Background: Strong ability to read and optimize application-level SQL and PL/SQL.
