The role focuses on ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing BI environments while supporting business intelligence and reporting needs.

Job Responsibilities
Administer and manage Power BI Service (tenant-level administration).
Configure and maintain workspaces, datasets, reports, and dashboards.
Implement and enforce data governance, security, and compliance policies.
Manage user access, roles, and row-level security (RLS).
Set up and maintain on-premises data gateways.
Monitor usage metrics, performance, and capacity utilization.
Perform capacity planning and optimization (Power BI Premium).
Manage data refresh schedules and troubleshoot failures.
Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.




Ensure integration with data sources (SQL, Azure, APIs, etc.).
Collaborate with business teams and developers for report deployment and optimization.
Support incident management, RCA, and performance tuning.

Skill Requirement
Solid experience in Power BI Administration and Service Management Expertise in:
Power BI Service & Power BI Desktop
Power BI Gateway configuration
Workspace management & governance
Knowledge of:
DAX, Power Query (M Language)
Data modeling and ETL concepts
Hands-on experience with:
SQL Server / Azure SQL / Data Warehousing
Integration with Azure services (Data Factory, Synapse)
Understanding of:
Data security, encryption, and compliance standards

Other Requirement
Experience with:
Azure Active Directory (AAD) & identity management
Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
Knowledge of:
DevOps / CI-CD pipelines for BI deployment
