Job Description: About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Diamond Assorter with hands-on experience in diamond grading, sorting, and assorting based on quality parameters. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of diamond characteristics, including cut, color, clarity, and carat weight, and be able to maintain consistency and accuracy in classification.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sort and assort diamonds according to size, shape, color, clarity, and cut.

- Examine diamonds under magnification to identify inclusions, blemishes, and quality issues.

- Ensure uniformity and precision in assortments as per design and production requirements.

- Coordinate with design, manufacturing, and QC teams to ensure the right quality stones are used.





- Maintain proper records of assorted diamonds and ensure accurate tracking in the inventory system.

- Handle diamonds carefully and ensure proper security measures during handling and movement.

- Identify mismatched or off-quality stones and report them promptly for replacement or correction.

Requirements:

- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in diamond sorting/assorting.

- Strong knowledge of diamond grading standards (4Cs: Cut, Color, Clarity, Carat).

- Positive eyesight and attention to minute details.

- Familiarity with diamond assorting tools and microscopes.

- Ability to work efficiently and maintain accuracy under pressure.

- Prior experience in a jewellery manufacturing or diamond trading firm preferred.
