Role Description:

The PRT Teacher Science will design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate science lessons for primary grade learners, aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives.

Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lessons, preparing teaching materials, conducting classroom activities, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback.

The role involves fostering curiosity, encouraging hands-on learning, maintaining classroom discipline,



and collaborating with colleagues and parents to support each learner’s overall development. The teacher will also participate in school events, co-curricular activities, and professional development initiatives.

This is a full time, on-site role based in Pune City.

Qualifications

-  Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, or a related field; B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.

- Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience in primary school science instruction.

- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Training to design structured, engaging, and learner-centered science activities.

- Excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and colleagues.

- Ability to create a safe, inclusive classroom that supports diverse learning needs and encourages curiosity.

- Comfort with modern teaching methodologies, classroom technology, and activity-based learning.

- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a collaborative approach to working within a school team.

- Prior experience in an international school environment is an advantage.
