About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Category Manager to lead procurement across Perishable, Non-Perishable, and Packaging categories. The ideal candidate should have a robust sourcing background, an established vendor network, and the ability to drive commercial value through strategic procurement and category growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement for Perishable, Non-Perishable, and Packaging categories.
- Develop and maintain a strong vendor and supplier network.
- Lead sourcing, vendor negotiations, and commercial discussions to achieve the best pricing and service levels.
- Drive category profitability through margin improvement and cost optimization.
- Conduct market benchmarking and identify new sourcing opportunities.
- Build and execute category strategies to support business growth.
- Monitor category performance, pricing trends,



and procurement KPIs using data and analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely procurement and uninterrupted supply.
- Lead and mentor the category team while driving high performance.

What We're Looking For

- Minimum 7 years of experience in Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, or Procurement.
- Expertise in Perishable, Non-Perishable, and Packaging categories.
- Strong vendor network with proven sourcing capabilities.
- Excellent commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of procurement benchmarking, pricing trends, and market intelligence.
- Demonstrated experience in improving margins and growing multiple product categories.
- Experience in leading and managing teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven business decisions.
- Proficient in Excel and procurement reporting.
