Job Description:

Position: Purchase Executive

Location: Ahmedabad

Experience: 2 – 3 Year

Industries: Medical Devices

Responsibilities:

- Procure raw materials, components, consumables, packaging materials, and indirect materials required for manufacturing.
- Generate and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved purchase requisitions.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors while maintaining relationships with existing suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts to achieve cost savings.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply-related issues.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, QA/QC, and Planning teams to maintain uninterrupted material availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid stock shortages.
- Verify purchase invoices, delivery challans, and GRNs for accurate documentation.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor databases, and procurement MIS reports.




- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, ISO 13485, GMP, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in vendor performance evaluation and supplier audits.
- Support cost reduction initiatives through alternate sourcing and value engineering.
