Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Application Support Engineer who can provide end-to-end application support while acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate should have robust communication skills, experience in application support operations, and working knowledge of ASP.NET Core API development, SQL Server, and Oracle databases.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth application operations, troubleshooting issues, coordinating with stakeholders, analyzing business requirements, and supporting enhancement and development activities when required.

Responsibilities
Application Support

- Provide Level 2/Level 3 application support for business-critical applications.
- Monitor application health, identify production issues, and ensure timely resolution.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and recurring issues.
- Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution.
- Manage application deployments and support release activities.
- Maintain application support documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Ensure adherence to SLAs and incident management processes.

Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for business users and stakeholders.




- Gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- Conduct requirement clarification sessions and provide regular status updates.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Drive issue resolution through cross-functional collaboration.

Development & Technical Support
- Support development and enhancement activities for existing applications.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs using ASP.NET Core.
- Troubleshoot API integration issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in code reviews and implementation of best practices.
- Assist in application testing and production readiness validation.

Database Management
- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts.
- Perform data analysis and troubleshooting in SQL Server and Oracle databases.
- Support data reconciliation, reporting, and batch processing activities.
- Ensure database performance and data integrity standards are maintained.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, or a similar role.
- Experience working in enterprise application environments.
