This role leads the capability agenda for technical and non-sales functions such as Product, Underwriting, Claims, Operations and other business teams. The individual will work closely with business leaders to build deep technical capabilities, drive continuous learning and ensure employees are equipped with the skills required to meet evolving business and technology needs.
Key Responsibilities
1.End-to-End Capability Management for technical functions like UW, Claims, Products, Risk and others
- Identify current and future capability requirements
- Partner with internal subject matter experts and/ or external expert partners to develop customised learning programs aligned to business needs
- Lead the rollout of technical learning journeys, capability academies and certification programs across the organisation
- Act as a strategic learning partner to leaders across Technology, Product, Underwriting, Claims, Operations and other non-sales functions
- Develop a deep understanding of business priorities and translate capability needs into targeted learning solutions
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing and technical excellence across business functions
- Ensure learning effectiveness through structured assessments and hands-on projects and partner with business stakeholders to monitor learner progress and drive adoption of capability initiatives.
2.Measurement & Business Impact
- Measure the impact of capability initiatives using business and learning metrics such as:
- Productivity and operational efficiency
- Quality improvements
- Automation and innovation outcomes
- Customer and operational performance metrics
- Develop dashboards and insights to track program effectiveness and continuously improve learning solutions.
- Demonstrate the Return on Investment (ROI) of learning initiatives through measurable business outcomes.

Experience
- 10+ years of experience preferably in insurance industry

- Solid understanding of technical learning methodologies, including hands-on labs, simulations and virtual sandbox environments.
- Experience designing blended learning solutions that combine classroom, virtual and digital learning.
- Knowledge of technical certification frameworks and competency-based learning models.

- Good understanding of technology and business landscapes.
- Ability to analyse skill data and generate actionable workforce capability insights.
