Role Description The Grants Writer is a full-time remote role responsible for identifying funding opportunities and developing compelling proposals that align with Tuiwalaa Studio’s mission and projects. The role involves writing and editing grant applications, concept notes, and supporting documents, as well as coordinating with project leads to gather accurate program information and budgets. The Grants Writer will manage grant administration tasks,



including tracking submissions, reporting on outcomes, and ensuring compliance with funder requirements. Collaboration with leadership on fundraising strategies, relationship building with grant-making organizations, and continuous improvement of proposal quality are core aspects of this position.
Grant Writing and Proposal Writing skills to craft clear, persuasive, and well-structured applications.
Fundraising knowledge to support broader development strategies and cultivate long-term funder relationships.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience in the arts, cultural, nonprofit, or social impact sectors is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Communications, English, Arts Administration, or Nonprofit Management), or equivalent professional experience.
