Job Description:

Designation: Senior Engineer– EHS

Reporting to: Leader – EHS

Professional Experience: - At least 5 years’ experience in Industrial safety engineering

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide training on the KYT module to the workforce.
2. Participate and review in HIRA programs.
3. To prepare and maintain the IMS documents for internal and external Audits.
4. Plan and ensure periodic Calibration of Lifting tools and Tackles, Pressure vessel, SRV etc.
5. Inspection of equipment for vendor onboarding.
6. Providing EHS induction to the recent incumbents.
7. To raise PR and follow up for PO and submission of EHS-related bills.
8. To prepare a project report and monitor the projects for eliminating the risk and preventing injuries.
9. To participate in the toolbox/ DMM /Small group meetings with each department and raise the EHS concerns of the respective area and follow up for closure.
10. To prepare and collect the data for monthly safety committee meetings and draft MoM.
11. To inspect the fire extinguisher and maintain the data.
12. To inspect the fire hydrant system and ensure the working condition of the same.
13. To Compile and report weekly, monthly data on EHS to the EHS leader.
14. To work on the safety applications(ASUENE& SAFELOG) and input the EHS data as per the set periodicity.
15. To issue and track and close the permit-to-work system.

To implement and comply with LOTOTO requirements.
17. To inspect and maintain the inventory of the emergency control center & On-site emergency response plan.
18. To organize, participate and draft the mock drill report as per the plan.
19. To plan and for the submission of the Quarterly, half yearly and annual, analysis EHS reports to regulatory and Legal bodies.
20. To prepare and update EHS-leader on the pareto analysis of the KYT report as per the zones.
21. To orient and spread awareness to the shopfloor team on the safety SOP’s(KYT, SBK, HIRA,) and safety training.
22. To assist Leader - EHS on the visits, inspections w.r.t EHS.
23. To update and maintain the inventory on PPE & CPE.
24. Conduct weekly audits in ETP and STP, and related channels.
25. Maintain Green belt in the factory.

Required Skills and Capabilities:

- Proficiency in AP factories rules, 1950, APPCB acts and The Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions (Central) Rules, 2026.
- Proficiency in English, Telugu and Hindi language.
- Proficiency in Excel, Google's documents and ability to use safety applications(ASUENE/SAFELOG).

Academia: - Bachelor’s degree in Industrial safety.

Preferred Industrial Background: - Preferred in manufacturing & sanitaryware industries background.
