About Lofte
Lofte Studios is a multilingual language and AI data company operating across 130+ languages. We deliver localization quality assurance, transcription, translation, and AI training data to global product teams and AI labs, backed by ISO 17100:2015 compliance. We are growing our AI data and evaluation work, and we are looking for a Project Manager to help build and run it alongside the founding team.

Compensation: ₹10 LPA

The Role
This is a hands-on delivery role, not a coordination-only one. You will partner directly with the Managing Partner to set up new project types from scratch, define how they run, and then own them end to end. You will move between AI/ML data projects, language quality assurance (LQA), and AI data collection, often in the same week. You will also be a primary point of contact for clients, so you need to communicate clearly and keep their trust under pressure. If you like building the machine, running it, and being the face of it to the client, this is that job.

What you will do
Own the full lifecycle of AI data, LQA, and data collection projects: scoping, planning, staffing, execution, quality, and delivery.
Serve as the main client contact: run kickoffs, status updates, and delivery reviews, set expectations, handle scope changes, and turn client feedback into action.
Work side by side with the Managing Partner to stand up new workflows, SOPs, quality frameworks, and tooling for project types we have not run before.
Build and manage teams of linguists, annotators, reviewers, and data contributors across multiple languages and locales.




Run LQA programs end to end: term base and style guide enforcement, must-fix versus consistency triage, fix-log outputs, and reviewer calibration.
Manage AI data collection projects across locales: participant sourcing, collection pipelines, spec compliance, and quality gates.
Track timelines, budgets, capacity, and margin, and keep clients updated with explicit, reliable communication.
Turn recurring manual work into repeatable, documented processes.

What we are looking for
6+ years of project management experience in language, localization, or linguistic data projects, with exposure to several different project types (not a single lane).
Direct experience with at least two of: LQA, MT evaluation, transcription, data annotation, or AI data collection.
Proven client-facing experience: managing accounts or stakeholders directly, communicating in writing and on calls, and holding relationships together when timelines or scope get difficult.
A track record of managing distributed linguist, vendor, or contributor teams across languages.
Strong command of project trackers, spreadsheets, and delivery tooling, and comfort defining process where none exists.
Clear written and spoken English, and the judgment to run a project without waiting to be told the next step.

Nice to have
Automation capability: scripting, no-code or low-code tooling, or API work to reduce manual effort and scale delivery.
Familiarity with CAT tools, a TMS, or annotation platforms.
Experience working directly with AI labs or product teams.
