Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst and Clinical Imaging Expert to drive the evolution of our enterprise platform, which serves as our core engine for clinical image ingestion, storage, curation, analysis, and secure sharing across global biomedical research teams and external collaborators.
In this role, you will act as the vital bridge between scientific researchers, data scientists, clinical operations, and engineering teams. You will translate complex workflows into functional requirements, ensuring our platform seamlessly manages cross-therapeutic area (cross-TA) imaging data while adhering to global data FAIRification guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Engineering & Process Mapping: Lead the end-to-end requirement gathering for the clinical imaging lifecycle: Ingestion, Validation/QC, Analysis, and System Integration.
Data Management & Curation Strategy: Define specifications for data-agnostic, automated ingestion pipelines (supporting Batch, Stream, and API loads) from clinical studies and Real-World Data (RWD). Standardize automated QC workflows to verify transfers and validate image metadata.
Advanced Search & Visualization Enhancements: Author functional specs for built-in DICOM/Non-DICOM viewers (incorporating annotation tools, labels, and hanging protocols).



Advance our search capabilities by designing requirements for both standard and Elasticsearch-based advanced search tools, including graphical and SQL-like proprietary query languages.
Analytics & Machine Learning Integration: Collaborate with data science teams to manage the integration of analytical toolsets (e.g., fluid segmentation, longitudinal analysis gears). Help define workflows for managing ML datasets (training, validation, hold-out) and ensure robust versioning and provenance tracking of execution workflows.
Collaboration & Ecosystem Integration: Drive requirements for seamless external collaboration with Academic Institutions, Hospitals, and CROs, prioritizing secure data transfers, federated learning capabilities, and pipeline synchronization.
Required Skills
Domain Expertise: Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst specifically within the Clinical Imaging, Pharma R&D;, or Biotech domains.
Imaging Standards: Deep, hands-on understanding of DICOM and NIFTI data standards, including metadata structures and parsing.
Data Governance: Strong familiarity with FAIR data principles and standard industry data governance guidelines for clinical research.
BA Toolkits: Expert in creating clear, scannable user stories, functional specification documents (FSDs), wireframes, and data flow diagrams.
Preferred Soft Skills
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to converse seamlessly with both a Principal AI Scientist and a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.
Strong analytical thinking with a track record of untangling ambiguous, highly scientific software requirements.
