What should you bring along

• Leading Development during the phase of post-production, Change Management, Release management, target management, Cost reduction, Steering changes etc.

Experience in virtual vehicle development and understanding of mechanical relationships

• Knowledge of common manufacturing methods for Front end Metal (Hood, fender & Tailgate) and Trim Parts

• Excellent communication skills to coordinate independently with interface partners

• Ability to manage and maintain data and documentation in accordance with BMW standards

Must have technical skills.

• Very good skills in CATIA V5, especially in Generative Shape Design, Part Design, Drafting, and Digital Mockup

• Good knowledge of the PRISMA database for publication and data management

• Experience with collision checks and integration of special characteristics, tolerances, and component identification in drawings.

Good Technical skills

• Familiarity with different manufacturing technologies for Metal and plastic components





• Understanding of fixation parts and assembly processes

- Very valuable cross functional interaction
- Concept development of Metal and Trim parts in Front and Rear End
- Creation of 3D CAD-Data (Metal and Plastic parts).
- Creation of sections.
- Creation of technical specifications good knowledge of the PRISMA database for publication and data management.
- high knowledge about automotive industry processes, Side door development experience, Fluent German is a plus

Good to have Technical skills

- Technical lead for postproduction phase steering changes with respect to timing, cost, technical solution, plant alignment trim and Sealing design, advanced knowledge on plastic and sealing material properties; Automotive experience.
- CAD Design of BIW parts and Trims for Front and Rear End.
