Job Description: An Electrical Head directs the electrical engineering, maintenance, and distribution operations for a facility. They are responsible for driving departmental objectives, managing multimillion-dollar budgets, enforcing strict safety compliances, and minimizing equipment downtime through root-cause failure analysis. Core Responsibilities

- Strategic Planning: Develop strategic goals, execute annual budgets, and manage electrical supply chain sourcing.
- Maintenance Management: Oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance programs to optimize plant uptime.
- System Operations: Manage operations for high-tension (HT) and low-tension (LT) panels, transformers, and switchyards (e.g., 11KV / 33KV lines).
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce state/national electrical codes and safety legislation (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NEC). Ensure statutory electrical inspections and audits.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise electrical engineers, technicians, and supervisors. Evaluate staff performance and coordinate workforce deployment.

Technical Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Minimum of a Bachelor of Engineering (BE/B.Tech)



in Electrical Engineering. A Skilled Engineer (PE) license or a state-certified Electrical Supervisor/Competency Certificate is highly preferred.
- Experience: Typically requires 10 to 15+ years of progressive experience in electrical maintenance and operations within heavy industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Core Competencies: Proficiency in:
