Plant Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role

Responsible for driving quality assurance, defect prevention, and process robustness across fabrication, machining, assembly, and painting operations in a heavy engineering manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead PFMEA and risk management for key manufacturing processes.
- Drive structured problem solving (8D, RCA) and ensure effective CAPA.
- Conduct process, station, and layered process audits to ensure compliance to standards.
- Ensure alignment of PFMEA, Control Plans, and shopfloor practices.
- Monitor process performance and drive defect reduction & COPQ improvement.
- Support ISO 9001 compliance and audit readiness.
- Drive continuous improvement (Lean/OPEX) and deploy best practices.




- Collaborate with production and engineering to ensure right-first-time culture.
- Ontime closer on plant manufacturing NCRs
